Hi all i thought i would start this thread so we could just chat about our lives daily struggles and blessings . Today i took my daughter to the doctor for her 2nd checkup ...she is pregnant & only 20 . We found out she had a bladder infection and a virus called e strep or something like that and he said it could be fatal to the baby if it got it ...they are treating it though. scarey moment though. Pray the baby is born healthy and ok . We are so blessed and i thank God daily for our many blessings . May you all be blessed and may we all be a blessing to each other . |

Hi Darlene,
Sorry to hear that your daughter is going through this situation. Well, I command that bladder infection to cease right now cause no weapon formed against her shall prosper and that baby will live and not die in the Name of Jesus..... Hallelujah. Thank you lord for taking those stripes that she is healed and restored and I plead your blood over her and that baby in your name I thank you that it's done Amen. Be strong and know that he will never leave you nor forsake you. Please I want to encourage you to pray psalms 23, 27, 91 and 103 over her life daily.
My days at work is so busy that I am too tired for my family(sometimes). Please pray that I will be able to get some time for them.
Ladies, you are mighty, powerful and more than a conqueror through christ Jesus.
Have an awesome and great weekend

Hi darlene, how is your daughter? Recently I have joined this chat group and the "today's issues" topic interest me. Yes, we should share our struggles and encourage each other daily. I am a mom of 2 kids, a girl 6yrs and a boy 10. I finds it so difficult to handle my son's attitude. Many time I lose patience and speak out things which I shouldn't. I feels very guilty and very stressed out. Don't know what the Lord has instore for me. Please do remember me in prayer. Thanks.

Hello,I am new to this chat site. Darlene, it sounds like you're daughter received treatment from the doctor early which is good. No matter what though, God can protect and heal this baby still while in the womb. I also want to say Hi to Devina, what you said about sometimes saying the wrong thing to your son then feeling guilty later. I can relate totally. My kids are now 18,19, and 22 years old, and what I have learned by much trial and error is that we have the power with our words to encourage or discourage more than we realize, If we use our words just as an expressive way to release our frustrations and anxieties we will more than likely open the door to negative feelings on ourselves and our kids, how often I would say hurtful things to my kids in the past because I was so frustrated, only to realize I could never take back my words. All the "sorry's" in the world can't heal what is already been said. Pray for God's wisdom with your words, You are in charge of that little boy, use the authority given to you to properly discipline him with love, be consistant, don't use idle threats that you know you'll never really do. He will start to gain respect for you and know that you mean what you say. I hope this helps you in some way. I really wish I could go back and redo some of the things I did with my kids, but I can't so maybe I can help someone else.

Thanks Wanda for your input. I appreciate that. I did repent for the negative words I had spoken to my son but I'm not sure if I'm really forgiven for that? Each time I pray to the Lord to help me to be a better mom but then later on I finds myself fall into more serious problem with my son. I am trying to keep a reign on my tongue. Please do stand with me in prayer. I want to see victory in this part of my life.
