October Update

Well, did you think I had died? I know it's been a long time since I have had time to sit down and let you know what's happening.

Besides being busier than I have ever been, we have been blessed with a great opportunity to Pastor a second Church!

30 Minutes south of Solid Rock is the new home of Solid Rock South!!

Formally know as Love and Faith Fellowship, Solid Rock South has been the fulfillment of a desire that we have had to bring to the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area.

If you live in this area, our service times at the new Solid Rock South Church will be Sunday at 10:30am and Thursday 7PM. More information will be available soon on the Solid Rock Church website (www.SolidRockChurch.org).

Until then, if you need more information or directions just give us a call at 513-528-4568.

On another note, this week has been very exciting because I am HOME! Renee, Doron and Avarie are with me this week and were having a lot of fun playing with the new baby.

Ill get some photos of her up on the site soon- she is the most beautiful granddaughter in the world!

I can't believe we're already in October and Shawna is already planning my calendar for 2008. What an exciting day to be alive and know the best is yet to come.

Make sure you check out my itinerary to see when I will be in your area.

Also, let me know if you are enjoying our Sisters Television Program- we just completed 2 episodes with Pastor Rod Parsley.

If you have Direct TV, we are on Saturday Morning EST at 10AM on Channel 373 and Sunday Night at 10:30 PM EST on Channel 369.

Remember you can also go to my website and watch a lot of the past episodes as well as even use the Chat Forum and meet and talk with other Sisters!

This is one of my busiest months of the year. Don't forget to add me to your prayer list.

Until next time, Love you all.

God Bless,

Darlene

August 26th Update

Hey guys, I know that it has been a long time since you have heard from me. But can I say that I have been slammed. I’ll recap some of the most significant moments in these past few months.

Let’s go back to my conference in June. This was absolutely the best conference we have ever had. There was such a sovereign move of God. Friday, as I was introducing CeCe Winans, God swept through that place like I had never seen. Every service built upon the other until no one wanted it to end! If you didn’t get to join us this year, it is all available on CD or DVD in the Shopping Catalog area of this website- and make plans to join us in 2008.

We had to reschedule our SISTERS taping in July because I had to fly out to California for the birth of my brand new grandbaby girl, Avarie Belle (pronounced just like Avery). There is a picture of her and I on my home page. Ain’t she a doll?! In fact, I am in Fresno, CA right now and she, her daddy, and my daughter came up here to be with MOM (that’s what she’ll call me)! We will be posting more pictures of Avarie shortly so that you can see just how beautiful she is.

As always, please keep me in your prayers, especially with my schedule being as busy as it is. God bless you and keep you as you continue to seek Him first.

Love and Prayers,

Darlene

P.S. Singles, don’t forget to check out christiandatingforfree.com where people are establishing meaningful relationships!

The Greatest Ever!

For those of you who weren't able to be with us at the Time of Purification Conference this year, it was by far our best conference ever. I didn't think it could be better than '05 or '06 but God did exceedingly abundantly above any thing we could ask or think. Wednesday and Thursday, each service began to build and by Friday morning there was such a manifestation and a presence of God, that people did not want to leave any of the services.  By the time Friday night came, it was as if we could have stayed forever.  So many testimonies have already came in from men and women that verified the miraculous move of God.  The most important thing was the many salvations and rededications that took place.  I know all of this was a result of the special prayer meetings specifically called to intercede for the conference.  As I've many times said, nothing comes to heaven from to earth except through the channel of pryaer.  And the presence of God we experienced

After the conference, I was on the road again, this time ministering in Bermuda for three nights; my first time there. I came home only to get on another plane to preach at a Women's Conference in Wichita and back to Solid Rock for our Sunday services.

Right now I'm in California, visiting my daughter Renee and her husband, Doron.  We're getting things ready for their first baby, which happens to be my seventh grand child.  Can you believe it?  I told them seven was the number of completion so this should do it.

Oops, I forgot, about my son Lawrence.  He probably needs one or two.  Of course that is, after he gets married.

I have a busy season ahead, so please pray for me and I hope you all have a blessed summer.  I'll be in touch...

Love,

Darlene

May Day

Hi. We are busy getting ready for the Time of Purification conference. Our registration is almost full, looks like we are going to be sold out. We are happy about that. This time of year is always hectic for me, preparing for the conference plus traveling to other conferences. I do have a few days off right now and have been enjoying my grandbabies. I had a root canal today and then my daughter dropped my grandson, Jude off at my house. She said he has been crying for me all day. We are tight, me and that little guy. He is so funny and always entertaining.

My assistant, Angela and my son, Lawrence had their second Singled Out service. It again was a huge success. They have a web site coming soon so we will keep you informed on that. I am amazed at how many singles there are out there. That's another reason I am excited about the dating site www.christiandatingforfree.com so if you are single check it out. They are growing very fast and I know of a few people at our church who have already found someone special.

Check out my itinerary page and see if I will be in your area soon. I would love to meet you!

God Bless,

Darlene

Grandson Preaches

Well, I don't want anybody to envy me as I pack my suitcase for an 8 day ministry trip...Florida, Massachusettes, HAWAII, and then back to Florida! :) Isn't it sweet how God compensates us for our faithfulness and obedience?!

My new grandson's name is Ryder Lee! He is so precious! I wish you could have seen my two year old grandson, Jude, who is his brother, preaching Sunday night at the end of the service! I gave him my microphone because he kept saying, "Mom (that's what he calls me), I want to preach!" When I gave him the microphone, he went to the edge of the platform and started yelling, "The devil is bad and Jesus is good, and I am going to get Him some toys!" He kept saying, "Listen to me! Listen to me!" The people were applauding and laughing so hard. I had to take the microphone away from him and he lost his religion! ;)

Well, pray for me that I will return from Hawaii! lol I love you all!

Spring is in the air!

I'm on a few days break from my travel. I just got back from speaking at Paula White's conference in Tampa, FL. It was one of the best conference's I've ever been a part of.  It was at the Sun Dome in Tampa, 10,000 people attended. Bishop Jakes, Noel Jones, and Paula... I've never heard them preach a better sermon than they did there. Of course they always do amazing, but they were spectacular. Order the tapes if you can.

I'm really looking forward to my daughter Renee and her husband Doron coming into town this Sunday. It will be my first time seeing her pregnant, I know she will look so cute. She is coming in for the birth of my youngest daughter Julie's baby. Julie is having a c-section on the 21st. Having a baby boy. Renee is due in August and Shawna, my asst, is due Sept 3rd so I'm gonna have babies, babies, babies.

I also want to mention my women's conference is coming up June 6-8. Time of Purification 2007. We are filling up faster than we ever have. I think it will be the best one yet. I hope you are planning to attend. I'm sure you will be blessed.

We are launching a new ministry at SRC called Singled Out for singles only. My son Lawrence will be heading it up along with my assistant Angela Mack. The first service will be on April 16th. If you live near the Tri-state area and are single we invite you to attend. Music, ministry and more. I will  be giving you more info on this ministry in the near future.

Court Ruling Update

Just as I have breathed a sigh of relief, my nephews are now attacking the judge that ruled in our favor. Perhaps some of you may have seen this on Geraldo on Sunday night. Please let me tell you there was not one moment of truth in the 4.5 min segment.

I've also learned a few things about the media: They don't generally present a case fairly and instead choose to focus on the attention-getting parts, even if those parts are completely false (and more importantly not proven to be true). They even threw in a few false claims of their own. I talked to the reporter from Fox News for over an hour and he did not quote one thing that I said. That's the reason I have declined to go on any of these shows- I know how they twist and edit things and want Christians to look bad.

And we are by no means worried about this wrongful death suit. They have not one thing to support their accusations and I know the truth always wins just as it has already.

One reporter asked me if this has torn our family apart. I told him: on the contrary, our family has never been closer than it is now. The fact is that these kids were estranged from us and never a part of our close family unit to begin with. I continue to pray for them nonetheless.

Please continue to pray for them. My nephew called me on the phone multiple times on the day of the ruling and said some unsettling things. After finding out he had lost, he called to tell me, among other things, that he was going to do everything in his power to destroy me and that he would not stop until he did. Then he went on to say that he was going to destroy the judge, Butler County Probate Judge Randy Rogers, who ruled in the case. I remember his words because they were quite shocking- he stated to me that when he gets done with this Judge, the Judge won't be able to get a job at at McDonald's.

I hope that this gives you some perspective as to what I have been dealing with as well as the people who are involved. I thank you again for your prayers and support.

God Bless You,

Darlene

Legal Update

I know many of you have been wondering about the current status of the lawsuit that was brought against me regarding my Brother Wayne's estate. I really appreciate all of the supportive messages and thoughtful prayers that have been made on my behalf. Today we got some new information but I cannot go into it in great detail yet. Here is the most recent development as stated by the court:

The court did not remove Darlene Bishop as executrix of the estate.

In its 33 page opinion, the court cited that in every allegation of the children, there was no credible evidence supporting those allegations.

In addition, the court did not remove Darlene Bishop as trustee of the trust.

More details will be posted soon. Thank you again for your prayers and support. It means a great deal to me.

Love,

Darlene

Official Press Release

PRESS RELEASE

DARLENE BISHOP

PERRY, ET AL v. BISHOP, ET AL.

The allegations made by Darrell Wayne Perry’s children are completely without merit. Darlene Bishop has not engaged in any inappropriate behavior and has not taken any actions not authorized by her late brother.

Perry appointed his sister, Darlene Bishop, executrix of his estate almost two years prior to his death.  The children are not beneficiaries under Darrell Wayne Perry’s will.  Under Perry’s will, the children are not entitled to any personal property or money.  However, despite this fact, Ms. Bishop allowed the children to take any and all items they desired from their father’s personal property. The children were notified of the estate sale of the remainder of their father’s personal property.  Practically from the date of Perry’s death, his children were represented by independent counsels who were in regular contact with the attorney for the estate.

In spite of the children’s allegations involving their father’s financial situation, Perry died with significant debts. Perry’s assets and debts have been accounted for in the Butler County Probate Court. Prior to his death, Perry also took advances against his royalty earnings, which stifled his earnings in 2005 and 2006.  This has been accounted for in the Probate Court.

Ms. Bishop has made a full accounting of the estate. It is unfortunate that the closing of the estate has been hindered by these baseless allegations. The children have subjected the estate to additional expense and cost.  To date, no one has brought to Ms. Bishop’s attention any asset wrongfully withheld from the estate.

Perry created a trust during his lifetime for the benefit of his children; however, he failed to fund the trust.  At the time of his death, there were no assets in the trust.  Thanks to Ms. Bishop’s efforts as Trustee, all royalty payments have been re-assigned to filter directly into the trust account.  Currently, royalty payments have been deposited into that account and will be distributed pursuant to the trust agreement once the estate has been closed.

The children allege that the “catalog” of Perry’s music should be valued and listed as an estate asset.  However, the “catalog” is on record with at least 2 music-publishing companies, which own a significant portion of the “catalog.” The children have access to this “catalog” and have the ability to promote it at any time.  In fact, at least two of the children have been promoting their late father’s music freely.  Because of Ms. Bishop’s administration of the estate, any royalty proceeds from their efforts will automatically be deposited into the trust account for the children’s benefit.

Perry did not assign any life insurance policy proceeds to the trust account.  He named Ms. Bishop, in her individual capacity, beneficiary of a life insurance policy.  Perry did not name Ms. Bishop as beneficiary in her capacity as Trustee.  The children have failed to produce any evidence that Perry intended to name Ms. Bishop as beneficiary in her capacity as Trustee.

The allegation Ms. Bishop hastened her brother’s death is completely unfounded.  Ms. Bishop never advised him against medical treatment; instead, she either personally took him to his medical appointments or arranged for someone to do so.  Perry lived with Ms. Bishop for approximately one year of his illness during which time, one of the children also lived with her to help care for Perry.

The children’s allegations of wrongdoing stand in stark contrast to Ms. Bishop’s life’s work.  Not only is she a co-pastor of one of the most culturally diverse congregations in the greater Cincinnati area- with over 50 ministries that support our local communities,  but also her ministry currently provides care, maintenance and support for approximately 50 orphan children in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Ms. Bishop’s ministry has built nine churches on remote islands in the Philippines and her ministry provides support for the School of Christ in Beaumont, Texas. She has also founded and created the Darlene Bishop Home for Life, a sanctuary for troubled and pregnant teens. The Darlene Bishop Home for Life has ministered to over 100 girls and provided them with medical care and state of the art facilities.

It is truly unfortunate that the children’s unfounded allegations have overshadowed the positive things her ministry has done for this community and beyond.

Brief Statement concerning False Allegations

I'd just like to briefly respond to all of these allegations that have been printed in newspaper articles and online lately. I'm very sorry that I have not been able to say much in my defense but, as you know, lawyers always advise you to not make any statements until the end.

I would like to just say a few words because it's a terrible feeling when you think people are making such dreadful judgements about your character, your family and your life's work all based on untruths.

We just went to court about all of this on Friday the 5th and all of these allegations have been proven to be false. The Judge will make his ruling within the next couple of weeks so I can update you in more detail then. Again, Im sorry that I cannot say more now but I will make a full statement very soon after the judgement.

I appreciate all of your kind words and encouraging emails. It is very touching to receive your supportive messages. I know many of you can understand what it's like to have family members like these. I ask you to please pray for them.

God Bless You,

Darlene

Happy New Year

I hope all you had a wonderful Christmas. Ours was lovely, all of my children and grandchildren were home. We had 35 family members over for dinner. Thankfully everyone helped cooking. I only had to make a ham, a pot roast and chicken N dumplings. We had a fantastic Christmas Eve service and on Christmas morning I went by both of my daughters houses to watch my grand kids open their gifts.

My daughter Renee and son-in-law Doron gave me just the gift I asked for. They are having their first child in August. So, two of my girls are pregnant together. Well, make that 3. My assistant, Shawna, just found out she was pregnant too! So three new babies will be added to our family this year.

I told you a few months ago about our "Christmas in Brazil". An offering we took up to send to our orphanage in San Paulo. I happy to say that we raised over $50,000! The kids had never received more than one gift for Christmas and were overwhelmed by their new clothes and toys. The money is going to help to repair the homes and for new appliances.

Our New Years Eve service was like none other. The church was packed with people and excitement. We prayed in the new year and at midnight had a huge celebration. We had 7,000 balloons drop from the ceiling as well as confetti canons, horns and beach balls.

Right now I am in Orlando. On our way here, my assistant Angela asked me what I felt like the lord was saying to the church in 2007. I told her the series of messages that God gave me at the end of the year, that I titled 'Where to put your trust' is probably the series I will focus on this coming year.

Because I believe that the test and trials that I have faced in the last few months have only been to measure my level of trust and confidence in God. That no matter what we will face we must know that it is a test that will qualify us to go into a greater depth in God that we have never known before.
God can only trust us to the level that we trust Him. Because He knows that if I trust him then He can trust me. And that when opposition comes I will not cave in, back up or let Him down.
But I will stand on one truth...He is faithful. And I believe this applies to the entire body of Christ.

I am very excited about the new year and am ready to get back to work. I hope you are planning attend the 'Time of Purification' conference this year. Many of you have already signed up and I am looking forward to seeing you this June. Our speakers include: Paula White, Jensen Franklin, Wanda Turner, CeCe Winans, and Judy Jacobs.

I would like to thank you all for your prayers and support.
Happy New Year!

Love,

Darlene

'07 Calendar Update

Well today Ive finalized my calendar for the entire year by preaching my last conference until 2007.

Shawna and I are working on the new 2007 Calendar and for those of you that have been asking about the Time Of Purification conference, we've scheduled the date for June 6-8. Some of our guest speakers will be: Jentezen Franklin, Paula White, CeCe Winans, Wanda Turner, Myself and musical guest Shirley Murdock. Start making your plans now to attend!

As I look at my calendar schedule, this looks like it will be the business year ever. Im having my busiest ever January and Febuary for sure. Make sure to check in on my calendar page to see where Ill be at- I certainly would love to see and meet some of you all at these events.

Im sure that many of you are busy shopping and getting ready for Christmas and the New Year. But dont forget what this season is really all about. Instead of just buying presents for your friends and your family, seek out someone who has a need. When you help meet their need, God in turn will help meet yours.

For example, I believe some of the most neglected people are the eldery in nursing homes. What joy it would bring to some of them for someone to bring a box of candy or a small gift, reminding them of Gods love.

Well Merry Christmas to all of my special friends.

Love,

Darlene

Thank you

I would like to say thank you to those of you who have been writing in telling me you are praying for me during this trial.

For those of you who dont know, I am being sued by my late brothers children. They are accusing me of wrongful death and for stealing their inheritance. Both of which are complete lies.

They are claming that I talked my brother Wayne out of going to the doctor when he learned of his throat cancer. I would NEVER EVER EVER tell someone to not go to the doctor. As a matter of fact I encouraged him to listen to the doctors, but he refused surgery saying he would rather die than have his voice box removed.

Many of you may have seen him on my program and read in my book of miraculous story.

I'm not able at this time to go into more detail, but will keep you posted and give you more information when this trial is over.

God is my defense and the truth will prevail!
Please continue to pray for me regarding this matter.

Love,

Darlene

Holiday Season

Hello and I hope you all had a wonderful holiday. The week before Thanksgiving I was ministering in London at a women's conference. I returned only 1 day before the holiday so it didn't leave much time for preparation. So, thankfully Arlene had already got our groceries. (She knows I dislike going to the grocery anyway). She and I cooked a wonderful meal. We had turkey of course with all the fixin's. The secret to our tasty meal is butter. We used 8 lbs!

My daughter Julie made a few things too. She is becoming quite the cook. All of my children weren't able to be with us this year and they were missed. Speaking of Julie, she is having me another grand baby. A boy due at the end of March. This will be my 5th grandchild.

Hard to believe Christmas is almost here. Our church is doing a "Christmas in Brazil" this Sunday. We are taking up an offering for the orphanage we have in San Paulo. We want the children to be able to have a nice Christmas and also would like to buy things they need in the houses such as TV's and appliances. Angela, my assistant, just returned from a visit there and was so moved by the children. She took clothing for the boys and girls and they were so happy they were in tears. They are so thankful for everything, things we take for granted. She said it has changed her life and she now sees why our work there is so important.

We are in the process of trying to buy an old hotel to house all of the children in one building rather than three. They are asking $600,000 for the facility. Please help us pray that is the right move for us. It is need of a lot of work. Several people will be taking a missions trip to help with the repairs.

December is a slow month for me as far as traveling. There aren't many conferences being held during the holiday season. So I will be resting up for the holidays, if that is possible. Although I love this time of year, I am not looking forward to all the shopping. Trying to find the right gifts for everyone who really aren't in need of anything. If it weren't for Arlene and her love for Christmas, I probably wouldn't even decorate my house. We normally do our family dinner on Christmas Eve, but since it falls on a Sunday we will be doing it on the 23rd this year.

Well, happy shopping to you all and God bless you. I love you and appreciate your prayers.

XX,

Darlene

Destiny in the Desert

I know it has been quite a long time since my last blog. I do apologize to those of you that have been writing in asking for me to write to you. From here on out I will try and be more consistent.

The first thing I want to mention is the Destiny in the Desert Retreat. I want to say thank you to all the ladies who came out. I enjoyed seeing those of you who attended the retreat last year, and it was a pleasure meeting the new partners as well. So many women told me it was the best time they had ever had.
My birthday party was definitely unforgettable. The Christian  comedian John Gray was our entertainment. He not only had us cracking up, but crying too. He is also a very anointed singer and minister.

The services were awesome and Becky Fenders ministry was life changing. You can see the photos from the retreat on the photo gallery. The hotel was beautiful and the weather was perfect. They had a water park and I got to spend some time there and enjoy the water slides. Yes, I love water slides. My daughter said Mom this is your 62nd birthday not your 16th. You want to ride water slides? I had so much fun last month in the Bahamas while speaking at the Church of God Cathedral. They put us up at the Atlantis hotel and I had a blast there going down the slides with my grandson, Jude. As soon as we would get to the bottom he would say again Mom again (my grand kids call me Mom). He wore me out. He is the cutest thing and is very attached to his "Mom". As soon as I get off the plane after being on the road I have to go straight to my daughters house and see him.

Today I flew to New York and am ministering at New Greater Bethel Ministries. Tomorrow I am going into the city to meet up with Paula White for lunch before I head home. This has been one of the busiest months of the year for me. It has flown by. Hard to believe the holidays are right around the corner.

God bless you all! Remember to Believe...

We must fight terrorism!

Hello and I hope this finds you well. First off, I want to thank you because many of you have been praying for me since my father's death last week. God is so good and His grace is sufficient in our most trying time. It's hard to feel grief when you know he is rejoicing with my Mother and four of his children that have already went on to be with the Lord.

Fall is here and this is one of my busiest seasons. Take a look at my calendar and you will see I need a lot of energy. But it's so exciting to be busy for the Lord. Last night we had a church picnic at Armco park. And all of the girls from the Home for Life were there. I hung out with them all evening and it was so great. They were sharing with me some very personal things of how deep in sin they had gone and what great deliverance has come into there life. I just rejoiced as I listened to each one of them tell their story. One of the girls is the granddaughter of a girl I went to school with in the fifth grade. Her grandmother died three years ago and I hadn't heard from her in probably 40 years. She was telling me how her psychiatrist told her this week that he was going to wean her off all her medication and he has never seen anybody recover so fast from manic depression.  As I looked at this beautiful girl, little did I know that when her grandmother and I were playing on the playground as little girls together that I would have the opportunity to help change her granddaughters life. This was all made possible through my partners and people like you who support this ministry.

On a lighter note, last time I was telling you about how I was dreading the new airline rules and not being able to take any liquids. Last week I was in a dilemma. I couldn't check my luggage because I had to go straight from the airport into a service. So at the last minute (please pray that the Lord will forgive me) in order to save the life of my lip gloss and mascara...well let's put it this way...I went from a C cup to a D cup. The Bible says he would have men add to your bosom so I just added some lip gloss to mine. But I was so nervous I don't think I will try that again. And you probably shouldn't do it either.

We have to fight terrorism more than ever... they're messin with my lip gloss and hairspray!

Have a blessed day!!

God's Woman

Hello from Palm Desert, California!

Im here in beautiful Palm Desert at the God's Woman Conference. This has been a wonderful conference- not to mention that my 2 daughters Renee and Julie have been here with me, and my son Lawrence! He ministered at the conference and had these women laughing so hard they were on the floor.

Im leaving today to fly back home; This will be a new traveling experience for me boarding without my liquids and other stuff- lip gloss, hairspray. Ill need a lot of prayer :) . Ive got to preach 2 services at SRC tomorrow morning and then another busy week. What an exciting life God has given me.

Seems like summer just started and now its practically over. I know this is probably a busy month for all of you, getting your kids back to school and all the re-adjustments that go along with this. But lets remember keeping our priorities in the rightful place is what makes life run smoother.

I know many of you have signed up for the Women's Retreat in Phoenix, AZ and I am looking so forward to our time there!

God Bless!

Summer update

Right now I am sitting at the Atlanta airport- we were here to attend a banquet celebrating Bishop T.D. Jakes 30 years in ministry. It was so awesome, I saw so many Pastors and friends of mine in ministry.

We're headed back home to Cincinnati & tomorrow off to Arkansas. On Monday we go to the Bahamas to minister and are looking forward to that.

We just filmed 4 new shows for Sisters, they were such faith building programs. If you know anyone who needs a touch from the Lord tell them to tune in. I know these will uplift them.

It almost seems impossible that we are already in August and the summer is almost over. We have big plans for the fall. Our Destiny in Desert retreat is coming October 19-22 in Phoenix, AZ. If you would like to attend, and I hope you do, you can register on this web site. We had such a wonderful time last year. I am excited for you to meet my daughters as well as the other Sister partners. We had so many Sisters who made new friendships at last years retreat and are looking forward to seeing their new friends.

Also, I want to mention my daughter Renee's wedding a few weeks ago. She was married in Los Angeles and her Father gave her away to our beloved son-in-law, Doron. We are so happy to have him in our family. The wedding was absolutely amazing and we had a great time. We will be putting some pictures up shortly so you can see how beautiful it was.

I love you and thank you for your prayers...

Time of Purification

Well, without a doubt this was the best conference we have ever had. Each speaker, I believe it was the best I have ever heard them preach.

It was such a pleasure meeting so many of the Sister Partners. And we signed 230 new partners! The two times I ministered I took up offerings for our ministries. We received $10,000 for the orphanage and $36,000 for the Home For Life.

We were also able to give $10,000 to help complete an orphanage in India. A missionary from our church, George Hale, (the one who is overseeing the 10 churches we are building in the Phillipines) is presently building an orphanage in India. He relayed to me that they needed $10,000 to complete it and from the revenue from the conference we were able to give him the money. Thank God for so many opportunities to bless so many orphan children.

This summer is going to be a very busy one for me. Check out my itinerary and see if I am going to be in your area. We also had people sign up for our Destiny in the Desert Retreat. I hope you are making plans to be with us there.

Yesterday I got a call from Cannie, a secretary from our church. She said a man named Jimmy from Tulsa, OK. called the church and said he was an Agnostic, he said he didnt believe in anything and had never been to church in his life. He said he was contemplating suicide, because life seemed to have no meaning for him anymore. And as he was flipping through the channels on his TV, he came across the Sisters program. He said he felt something he had never felt before and when I prayed he prayed with me. He said to Cannie, I dont know what to do next, my whole life has changed where do I begin? She called me and said Darlene he is on the phone what should I tell him. I told her to tell him we are going to send him a Bible, both of my books and some teaching material. Isnt God awesome??

I love hearing these testimonies of how God is using our program to reach the lost.

God Bless you all!!

Traveling Preacher Woman

Today is Thursday and I am in the Atlanta airport waiting on a connection to go to Allentown PA. I just asked Angela to please tell me this little plane is not ours.   So I guess you need to do some more praying because I don't like small planes.

My husband Lawrence recorded a song called 'Travelin Preacher Man' but I think we need to change it to Travelin Preacher Woman. We have a full schedule this month with several preaching engagements as well as preparing for the conference in June.

Last night I was so blessed when I preached at Deliverance Tabernacle. They took us to what I thought was going to be a hotel but instead it was a beautiful condo at the Portofino Resort and Spa. We stayed in the Penthouse overlooking the ocean. It was breathtaking. Aint God great! However, I had a huge embarrassing moment! The church is in the process of building a new Sanctuary and in the meantime are in their Family Life Center. They had something like a makeshift stage and can you believe while I was speaking I walked right off it! I fell flat on my face. The whole church gasped and security came to me and asked am I ok am I ok?? I said yes yes. Meanwhile I felt like I had broke my finger and my knees are skinned up. How embarrassing! I guess God has a way of keeping us humble. We are getting some good laughs off it.

Last week I was ministering in Los Angeles. My daughter Renee and her Fiance Doron live there so I was able to spend some time with them. I also gave Renee a bridal shower at her home. We had a lovely time. I was there when this web site was launched and I am glad to see by your entries in the guest book that you are enjoying it. I would love to hear from you! God Bless you and keep you and I hope to see you in June.

10 new Solid Rock churches in the Philippines

As I'm writing to you today I'm on a plane headed to Woodridge, VA to preach for Pastor Deborah Dukes and her husband Lyle. From there I go to Dallas, TX to preach at New Mountain Zion Baptist Church.

I have a very exciting testimony I would love to share with you. We have a brother in our church by the name of George Hale who is a missionary to the Philippines. He had reported to us that there were 10 islands there that had no churches. He has been ministering on these 10 islands in small lattice huts that seat around 50 people. The crowd would gather and about 400-500 people would stand around the hut as he preached. To get to these islands he rides on a motor boat and then wades through the water for about a mile. When he told us this, my husband asked him how much would it cost to build a church. He said it would cost around $10,000 to build a block structure with electricity that seated 500 people.

Pastor Lawrence told him SRC wanted to build a church on one of the islands. He came back in March with a photo of the church SRC had built. I wish you could see the joy on the faces of these people as they had their first service in their new building.

As I was looking through these photos, God spoke to me and told me to build the other 9 churches. I told brother Hale to do what was necessary to get this project started and I would have it done by the end of the year. But now the rest of the story....I went out the next week to minister and received an honorarium to build the other 9 churches!

God can truly do exceedingly abundantly more than we can ask or think. As I am writing this they are building 9 more churches!  I shall talk to you in a few days.

And don't forget to register for the Time of Purification Conference June 7-9. I hope to see you there...love you and God bless.
